Jewel ❥ Mint: The Good, the Bad, & the Review

Hey Vivas! Sorry I have been so MIA. I have been super busy. Warning: Long Helpful Post Ahead

Now on to the post! With all of the beauty gurus on YT pushing Jewel Mint, I decided to give it a try. After signing up and purchasing my first piece of jewelry, I found out about the cons of the site very quickly. This post will give you a heads up on if Jewel Mint is for you or not. Below I will give you Cons, Pros, and a review of the piece I ordered.

First I want to address the horror stories I have heard about the company …. which are the following:

– Their customer service is horrible … Their customer service was great to me. The website says that customer service will get back to your email in 1 – 2 business days. I received my email response within about a week. They answered all of my questions flawlessly. If you need an immediate answer to a question. I would suggest calling them.

– If you aren’t wise you will be charged 29.99 per month without being notified … (Truth) If you just sign up for the website you are fine. It is after you purchase your first piece of jewelry where things can get tricky. Once you purchase your first piece of jewelry, you will be charged  29.99 a month. However, if you do not like anything in your showroom the next month or decided that you don’t want to purchase anything, you can op to skip that month and you will not be charged 29.99 that month. They don’t really make this information as known as they should.

Now on to the great things

– Their pieces are unique … (Truth) The pieces of jewelry on Jewel Mint are exclusive to Jewel Mint. You won’t see them in Target, Forever21, Belk, JC Penny or anywhere else you go.

– Their packaging is great … (Truth) I love, love, love the packaging! The box is magnetic and sturdy. The Jewel Mint ribbon is cute as well.  The back of the ribbon is elastic so if you want to put the ribbon back on the box, you don’t have to worry about untying it.

-You get to do a style profile … (Truth) I think my style profile was ok compared to other sites where I have completed one. Only one piece caught my eye (It was me to the T). Here is the secret to completing style profiles – You have to choose the option you really connect with, not the option that’s “fashionable” to everyone else. If you don’t pick the options that connect with you, you will definitely not like your showroom.

The Review: I purchased the Encore Necklace above

Colors … The colors are bright, but not as bright as I imagined they would be. However I love the necklace and wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Quality … I think that on a scale from 1 to 10 (with 10 being the highest) I would rate the quality of the necklace around an 8. The jewelry is well put together. It is about the same quality you would get in a necklace from Forever21 or AE.

Overall … I loved my purchase. Not so keen on the 29.99 a month, but that can be avoided by going to the website every month or changing your registration status, which I am working on now.
