Shontelle is a native of Barbados. She has known Rihanna, also a Barbados native, since childhood. You might remember her from her first cross-over hit “T-Shirt”. I must admit I was not a fan of “T-Shirt”, but Shontelle has won me over with “Impossible”. It is very catchy. I catch myself singing it all the time.
